Senior Python Developer and Team Lead
5+ years experience
Gross salary range is 5200 – 8000 EUR/month
Responsibilities:
- Research, evaluate, architect and deploy new tools, frameworks, and patterns to build sustainable software solutions
- Stay on top with the latest technologies and produce high-quality code to a variety of clients in a large number of industries
- Collaborate with CTO, Team Leads and other tech team members and help with defining, planning, removing bottlenecks and driving large-scale projects
- Share knowledge and know-how of software best practices inside and outside the team
- Lead and work as part of a team, as well as work independently on assigned goals
- Apply Agile principles on a daily basis
- Participate in hiring processes, work along with HR team
- Support and mentor the team performance through 1:1’s and feedback, resolve any issues or conflicts
- Motivate team members and help them to grow professionally
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience with working on multiple projects with Python
- Strong code analysis, investigatory and debugging skills
- Competence in AWS is a plus
- Competence in Django is a plus
- Experience in Agile development environment
- High personal code/development standards and practices (peer testing, unit testing, code reviews)
- Good communication skills
- Focus on simplicity and quality
- Sharp-eyed with attention to details
- Verbal and written fluency in English
Team Management Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor
- In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Decision-making skills
