What will you do?
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle database solutions using PL/SQL and SQL;
- Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and complex SQL queries;
- Analyze existing database solutions and implement improvements to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability;
- Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code, identify performance bottlenecks, and contribute to database performance tuning;
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in business-critical systems;
- Participate in technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance activities;
- Collaborate with developers, system architects, business analysts, and other technical team members;
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high development and documentation standards;
- Work independently on assigned tasks while actively contributing to the team’s technical decisions and knowledge sharing.
What will make you successful in this role?
- 3+ years of professional experience in Oracle PL/SQL development;
- Strong practical knowledge of Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and SQL;
- Hands-on experience developing stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and complex database queries;
- Experience in SQL and PL/SQL performance optimization and troubleshooting;
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, database design principles, and transaction management;
- Experience working with large-scale or business-critical information systems would be an advantage;
- Experience with version control systems and modern software development practices;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a technical team;
- Fluent Lithuanian and good working English.
Certification is required: Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate or an equivalent or higher-level Oracle certification relevant to PL/SQL development.
